A Japanese sports online app company is currently recruiting for a Japanese speaking Customer Service / London Branch Representative to help establish a London office. A high level of English is essential as the main focus is on English language support. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience whilst working flexibly in the exciting start-up phase of a company, with fantastic potential to become a London office manager in the future.
Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
Start: ASAP
Hybrid Work: First month will be in the office every day for training
Main Responsibilities:
1. Creation and maintenance of response policies, manuals, and FAQs for handling enquiries
2. Work on team infrastructure, such as streamlining workflows, DX proposals, etc.
3. Support customers via multiple channels, including live chat, social media, etc. (English support)
4. Support for enquiries from global customers and other stakeholders
5. Liaison and reporting with Japan HQ and internal departments
6. Liaison with accounting firms, accounting processing support, human resources (e.g. future recruitment)
7. Liaison with other office management companies and third parties
Ideal Candidate:
1. Holders of high business level English language skills (guideline: TOEIC 850 or above) and Japanese language skills (guideline: JLPT N2 or above)
2. University degree or equivalent (overseas university or postgraduate degree preferred)
3. High level of communication skills with the ability to handle customer service in English
4. Experience in customer support related to web applications/software is welcome
5. Experience in accounting and human resources or a degree in Accounting & Finance is welcome
6. Degree in sports management or industry experience is welcome
7. Knowledge, understanding, and interest in sports betting is welcome
8. A team-worker who can be flexible without limiting the scope of their work
9. Willingness to be involved in the running of the base as a manager in the future
