Digital Marketing Executive – Email & Automation

Location
The role is based at our Head Office in Ashington, Northumberland and offers the option to work remotely 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday)
Purpose of the Job
• Increase the amount of incoming MQLs.
• Develop and lead Raytec’s email marketing strategy.
• Manage the Raytec website and background analytics.
• Manage Raytec’s marketing automation platform.
• Develop our use of marketing automation.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns including segmentation, testing and deployment through marketing automation software.
• Maintain and improve the quality of the Raytec database of customers who have opted to receive our communications.
• Analyse email marketing results, report on the information and make improvements and recommendations.
• Work with external marketing design agencies to create compelling imagery and messages.
• Build marketing automation into the Raytec website and improve performance.
• Work with the wider marketing team and the Sales team to meet company goals for lead generation, pipeline development and transition into SQLs.
• Ensure the website is up to date and offers the best customer experience.
• Work with external digital agencies to ensure the Raytec website and digital presence in industry leading and resolve any website maintenance issues quickly.
• Improve the customer experience on the Raytec website using optimization applications such as Crazy egg and instigate improvements.
• Integrate our marketing platforms – marketing automation, website, live chat, CRM and improve performance and manage the CRM and work with sales to improve its performance and useability.
• Help the marketing team with internal communications e.g. developing b-monthly staff newsletter.
• Supporting the marketing department with additional tasks when required.

This role is reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager
Working Hours
This is a Full-Time position working 08.30 – 17:00 Monday-Thursday, 8.30-2.30 Friday as standard.

Essential Skills
• Experience using Marketing Automation platforms.
• Experience using customer segmentation to deliver tailored marketing.
• Proven experience creating high-impact, unique marketing campaigns.
• Prior experience of managing and maintaining customer databases.
• B2B campaign experience.
• Proficient in WordPress.
• Experience with Google platforms including |GA4.
• Must be goal and results driven.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and at times independently.
• A proactive attitude and willing to take ownership for results and improvements.
Desirable Skills
• Educated to degree level or similar.
• Experience within the lighting industry.
• Proven performance in digital marketing strategies to target, engage and acquire MQLs.
• Located within a 30-minute commute of the Raytec HQ
• Full driving license
