Job Title: Community Centre Duty Officer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Community Centre Duty Officer. As a key member of our community centre team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing centre operations, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage centre operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensuring the centre is clean and tidy.
* Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
* Develop and maintain relationships with centre users, local community groups, and other stakeholders.
* Assist with event planning and coordination, including setting up and clearing events.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of centre policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
