As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you'll help us maintain our high standards day after day. From motivating your team to taking responsibility for the shop floor, you'll keep our store running like clockwork, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
You'll be responsible for:
1. Motivating and supporting your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
2. Swiftly solving problems and delegating tasks
3. Creating an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
4. Managing operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
5. Handling freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
6. Giving our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
We're looking for someone with:
* Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast-paced environment
* The ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
* Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to keep calm in any situation
* Possession to thrive as a key part of the Store Team
* A proactive and encouraging approach to help your colleagues develop themselves and store operations
