Role of a Trustee We are looking for committed and motivated individuals aligned to our vision to create communities where people with learning disabilities and Autism are valued as equals and to our values of caring, respect, honesty, ambition, and collaboration. The role of a Trustee is voluntary and we expect all Trustees to actively contribute to the Board, using their skills and experience to give strategic direction, evaluate performance, and ensuring the charity is run efficiently and effectively. Trustees are expected to:- attend up to 4 Board meetings per year and an annual planning day. We also have a finance committee which meets twice a year. Meetings are usually held on a Wednesday or Thursday 12-3pm. contribute advice and support on an ad hoc basis. attend events and promote the work of the charity. visit services on a quarterly basis. All travel and out-of-pocket expenses will be paid. Applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
