My client is an established provider now in the completion stages of setting up an OFSTED registered Children's Home focusing on supporting EBD service users and are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Manager based in Staffordshire.
As the Children's Home Manager, you will be carrying out a range of duties some of which have been listed below:
Duties of the Children's Home Manager :
* Provide social work support to individuals and families in a home setting
* Assist with budgeting and financial management for the home
* Coordinate and oversee home care services for residents
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all activities
* Ensure the safety and well-being of residents
* Develop and implement policies and procedures
* Manage staff and provide leadership and guidance
* Coordinate and monitor resident activities and programs
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
* Liaise with the Responsible Individual and the commissioning authorities to ensure that the care needs of new and existing children/young people are met.
