Applicants should meet the following criteria:
1. Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
2. Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems
3. Call Handling Experience
4. Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment.
5. Sterile services knowledge
6. Must have good administration and computer skills
Duties of this role include:
7. To provide a first-class decontamination sterile service to the Operating Theatres, clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments
8. To assist in the answering of calls from customers and preparing/amending tray lists
9. To assist with the ordering and storage of supplies as required.
10. To dispatch instruments to various locations as required.
11. To assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items to/for the customer.
12. To maintain good working relationships with all customers and staff.
13. To assist with stock levels and stock control.
14. To promote and maintain Health & Safety within the department
15. To ensure processes are followed and in accordance with policies and procedures
