Do you want to work in a fast-paced, dynamic Finance Team?
We are currently seeking a Financial Controller, an individual who is a commercially savvy, qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, or ACCA) that is able to keep control of multiple accounting and compliance requirements across different jurisdictions across EMEA and capable of being a true Finance Business Partner with full responsibility for the integrity and reporting for their region.
This is an on-site position in Woking, UK.
What we will get you doing:
1. Ensure quality and timeliness of monthly financial reporting, ensuring the integrity of the data contained in the financial records. Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial information for reporting to Global Financial Controller.
2. Maintain internal control, balance sheet reviews, and the monthly close process; develop and ensure financial controls are followed in accordance with company procedures.
3. Ownership of the statutory accounts production including liaison with auditors. Tax support to Danaher tax team to ensure timely completion of annual returns.
4. Lead revenue recognition and provide technical support, including financial billing controls.
5. Focus on continuous improvements and drive recommendations for and implementation of change in processes and controls.
6. Actively business partner with all areas of IDBS to help achieve financial objectives for revenue and operating income.
7. Line Management of the finance team in accordance with Danaher’s Core Behaviours to ensure a highly motivated and effective team where talent is retained, and succession strategies developed and executed. Lead areas of the Finance team to drive engagement, develop team ensuring strong succession planning, Performance, and Development for Growth.
Here is what success in this role looks like:
1. Knowledge/experience of NetSuite and working with a SaaS Software Company desirable.
2. Qualified Accountant.
3. Experience in financial reporting in a global matrix organization. Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and ASC606 along with strong transactional finance capabilities.
4. Strong knowledge of Internal Control procedures and working knowledge of tax concepts.
5. Commercially focused with business partnering as a key skill set.
6. Exceptional ability to lead a finance team as well as in a more hands-on capacity as required.
7. Ability to meet tight time frames and drive continuous improvements.
