We’re looking for a Production Engineer to join the supply chain team at RBAT. Key Responsibilities: Create, manage & publish Composite Manufacturing & Assembly Standard Operating Procedures with implementation guidelines for all Production functions. Create, manage, & publish the Standards documents which accompany the process procedures that compliments the Quality Assurance working practice. Establish, uphold & promote the Supply Chain standards & principles in engineering and manufacturing processes. Develop Composite Production & Assembly control systems with a decisive corrective actions process. Form the 'bridge' between our Design, Manufacturing & Assembly teams, with involvement from initial design requirements through to finished assemblies on the car. Key stake holder and contributor to the development, and implementation of Quality management systems (QMS). Develop a strong working relationship with the Quality & Manufacturing Engineer, ensuring that production teams understand and confirm the Quality requirements to delivery parts right first time, assured to ensure an efficient controlled transition in the business and into stock. Lead & facilitation of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA’s) against all relevant projects. To contribute to the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) validating the Production Engineering phases to approve Design for Manufacture/Assembly (DFM/A). Support in development of Manufacturing Control Plans to include Equipment, Method/Process, Datums/Alignment features, measurement uncertainty value and fixtures needed. Supportive involvement in Quality reporting systems (QRS) process to ensure effective containment and robust RCCA in conducted for manufacturing/assembly related issues.
