The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, a deep understanding of JCT contracts, and the ability to deliver projects successfully and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost plans and estimates for projects. Oversee the procurement process from inception to completion, including the preparation of tender documentation. Manage work packages post-contract, including change control, valuations, cost reports, and final accounts. Provide clear, focused, and accurate cost advice and reporting. Conduct tender analyses to appoint contractors and benchmark future cost plans. Take a proactive approach in setting objectives and priorities, ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration. Maintain effective communication to ensure the successful completion of projects, liaising with other managers for efficient financial control. Deliver work outputs accurately and on time. Represent the company in a professional, confident, and approachable manner, building strong relationships with clients. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying. Expertise in pre- and post-contract processes, including cost planning and procurement. Strong technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills. Highly organized, proactive, and commercially astute. A collaborative team player with a flexible, positive, and professional approach. Understanding of JCT contracts; NEC experience is beneficial.
