Reliability Engineer - Manufacturing Plant Maintenance
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer to join a world-class manufacturing facility in Telford. The successful applicant will play an integral role within a strong manufacturing engineering team, aiming to provide world-class service and support the platform for leading OEE.
Salary and Location
Salary: up to £50,000 package
Location: Telford
Duties
1. Work a double shift pattern (6-2; 2-10), leading the reliability management program—continually reviewing equipment data to identify opportunities to improve MTTR & MTBF.
2. Perform Root Cause Analysis.
3. Participate in capital and process improvement projects, especially automation and controls, to enhance equipment reliability and machine availability.
4. Monitor failures to identify root causes and implement appropriate actions.
5. Organize and indirectly lead Criticality Assessment and Risk-Based Maintenance analysis (FMECA/RCM/REM) teams.
6. Initiate and implement changes to PMs when appropriate.
7. Provide training as needed, including Root Cause Failure Analysis training for maintenance technicians and others.
Experience and Qualifications
* Likely already working as a Reliability Engineer or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer seeking to make a difference with passion and expertise.
* HNC / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on reliability and maintenance engineering.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in advanced root cause analysis and problem solving.
* Knowledge of condition-based monitoring is highly desirable.
* Strong automation and controls experience with Siemens PLC, HMI, and robotic systems.
* Ability to work a double day shift pattern, Monday to Friday.
