What you'll do As a Project Manager at Sainsbury's, you will be part of the Retail Projects, Construction and Delivery Team responsible for overseeing and delivering multi-million-pound physical change projects across our estate, ranging from multi-site category changes, store improvements to the construction of new supermarkets and local fulfilment centres. Working closely with Senior Project Managers, you will support the end-to-end delivery of these projects, ensuring they are completed within the agreed time, cost, and quality parameters. Your role will involve managing retail delivery elements, developing and implementing communication plans, resolving issues to keep projects on track, and effectively planning and coordinating resources. Additionally, you will update key project information, ensure projects are completed to high-quality standards, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders. With your project delivery experience, technical proficiency, stakeholder management skills, and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities, you will contribute to the successful execution of our investment projects. Who you are As a Project Manager, you are a highly experienced and self-motivated professional with a proven track record in delivering structured and well-planned projects. With your strong project delivery experience, you excel in managing conflicting priorities and timescales while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, cost, and time. Your technical proficiency, including excellent computer skills, enables you to effectively navigate project requirements and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. With your understanding of investment project delivery and customer focus, you consistently strive to exceed expectations and drive operational change for continuous improvement. Your exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills further contribute to building effective relationships and influencing key decision-makers.
