UK Expansion
The company is expanding into the UK services sector, with its first acquisition (2,500 customers, 20 staff) expected to close by Q4 2024. A UK-based General Manager is required to oversee and grow the business, reporting to the Group CFO. The role will also support future acquisitions starting in 2025, working closely with senior management.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee operations, customer service, HR, IT, and finance functions.
2. Scale UK operations through acquisition, with a hands-on approach in the early stages.
3. Lead acquisition integrations (operations, IT, financials, staffing, sales, vehicles, branding).
4. Ensure systems are optimized for expansion and manage system upgrades.
5. Develop and implement organic growth and marketing strategies.
6. Manage compliance and environmental issues.
7. Provide monthly performance and acquisition updates to senior management.
8. Handle recruitment for the UK division and coordinate with central support teams.
Requirements
1. Proven experience driving organic growth and leading acquisition integrations.
2. Leadership across operational, customer service, commercial, and financial teams.
3. Experience managing system upgrades and changes.
4. Strong track record in senior management reporting and recruitment.
5. Skilled in negotiating with suppliers and vendors.
6. Minimum of 5 years in a similar role with experience scaling businesses.
7. Excellent communication, leadership, and IT skills.
8. Flexible and adaptable to evolving strategic goals.
