The School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies enjoys an excellent reputation for innovation, and our teaching staff combine academic excellence, world-class research, and industrial experience. It offers a diverse range of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and delivers a number of active research projects in these areas. We are now seeking to appoint to the post of Lecturer in Computer Science.
The post holder should have a wealth of practical experience in computer science, machine learning, data science, software engineering, cyber security, or artificial intelligence to support the delivery and employability agenda of our computing course portfolio. The ability to contribute to curriculum development and a personal commitment to undertaking development and/or scholarship to enhance teaching are also essential for this role.
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
