RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic SME in Stockport who are recruiting for a Credit Controller, this is a new opportunity to support the finance department with the Credit Control duties. You will work within a small finance team and report to the Finance Manager daily 27 days holiday 8 bank holidays Free onsite parking Flexible or reduced working hours available Pension scheme Bonus scheme The Role Maintain and manage own ledger Managing customer queries, chasing customer payments over the phone and via email Management of invoices, statement and delivery notes Allocation of cash onto customer accounts Liaising with and managing 3 rd parties and maintaining strong relationships Handling and managing aged debtors Other duties may include support across the department to cover annual leave/sickness period (e.g. purchase ledger) The Person An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential Experience working within a credit control/sales ledger or an all-around accounts role is essential Experience with MS Excel and Ms Outlook Strong communication skills and confident over the phone
