Role description:
Manage key elements of a bid, to ensure the bid process is followed and to ensure that high quality bids are produced on time and within budget.
Occupier and Retail Banking (ORB) sector; we work with many large, often global, organisations who occupy real estate, such as offices or retail banking space, to undergo change in order to optimising their real estate portfolios - whether it's change for growth, change for consolidation or rationalisation, or change to be more resilient and future facing.
A significant portion of our opportunities are locally focused, however, we also act as a central hub for many global opportunities. This dual approach means we often cover diverse geographic regions, leveraging our global reach and local strength to deliver solutions that drive success on a global scale.
Role accountabilities:
1. Coordinate the bid / proposal management process, bid/ proposal document and client interview whilst managing timelines, expectations, and be responsible for getting the final proposal submitted on time to a high standard of excellence.
2. Organise medium scale BA pursuits, and works with pursuit leaders to run, drive coordinate positioning, strategy, and activities before and after RFP
3. Ensure consistent use of harmonised pursuit process throughout the pursuit.
4. Coordinate scheduling and preparation for all necessary Pursuit Committee touchpoints.
5. Align and manage the best Commercial Excellence resources needed for proposal execution as agreed on with the Pursuit Leader (copy writer, graphics, etc.).
6. Support and facilitate with the Pursuit Leader key pursuit discussions and positioning activities (M.O.R.E., Win Room, etc.), track action items, and ensure proposal messaging is aligned with the knowledge collected throughout the positioning phase.
7. Management of bid processes with a view to increasing strike rate.
8. Run, design and formulation of proposal responses clearly articulating the solution vision and win themes.
9. Ensure proper win/loss debriefs and use lessons learnt are captured.
10. Coach and mentor Commercial Enablement team and other member of the pursuit team to help bring the full breadth and strength of Arcadis to the bid/proposal to the client
11. Identify necessary resources, as agreed on with the Pursuit Leader, utilising GSSC as an engine for harmonisation and efficiency.
12. Identify and drive improvements in our Bid Management processes ensuring any best practices are filtered back to the GBA/Business and Commercial Enablement.
Qualifications & Experience:
13. Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline.
14. Years experience: 1-5 years in relevant area of expertise
15. Hold or be working toward a relevant certification.
16. Proficient in desktop applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
17. Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning and time management skills.
18. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
19. Effective research, data gathering and analysis skills.
20. Able to produce high quality work in fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
21. Able to take initiative and work independently or with a team.
22. Able to handle feedback in timely manner.
23. Thorough knowledge of writing practices ability to deliver within short timelines.
24. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other CE global counterparts, GSSC, etc.
