Nursery Practitioner Annual Salary: £27,452 (pro-rata for term-time only) Location: Cross Campus - North London Job Type: Full-time, Term-time (35 weeks per year) We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our client's team, working across both our Client's North London campuses. This role is essential in providing high-quality childcare and education, exclusively serving the children of our students. The successful candidate must be flexible to work at both sites and hold a Childcare and Education Qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3, as required by OFSTED. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, organise, deliver, and evaluate activities and learning experiences for children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, in partnership with parents. Act as a key person to update, support, and extend key children’s learning journeys through observations, assessments, and activity plans in conjunction with the nursery's Early Years Professional. Maintain accurate and effective up-to-date children’s records, identifying individual needs, abilities, and progress as a basis for future planning. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of child development and the Early Years Curriculum. Attend staff meetings, planning meetings, and organised training events. Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with EYFS advisory teachers, area SENCOs, and other agencies that may visit the nursery. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must hold a Childcare and Education Qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3. Proven experience in early years education. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. Ability to plan and organise educational activities that promote child development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with children, their families, and professional colleagues. Flexibility to work across multiple sites and commit to shift patterns of 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Benefits: Competitive salary of £27,452 per annum, pro-rated for term-time only.
