This key role ensures the company's products and processes meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards, driving compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
About the Role
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for leading compliance efforts to ensure products meet national and international standards. They will manage product certification processes and liaise with regulatory bodies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation
* Oversee audits and inspections, both internal and external
* Provide training and guidance to staff on regulatory requirements and best practices
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a compliance or quality management role within machinery manufacturing or a related sector. They will possess strong knowledge of regulatory standards, including CE, UKCA, ISO 9001, and machinery directives, as well as familiarity with health and safety standards such as PUWER, ATEX, or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated at £55,000 per annum, plus benefits.
