Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised learning plans to support each student's academic progress
* Assess students' learning needs and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/guardians
* Collaborate with school staff and SEN coordinators to ensure effective support for students
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with SEN in their homes in Dagenham, Greater London.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
