PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a SMART Room Instrument Engineer to join our onshore team. This role reports Hierarchically to PBS GMOC ASSET Manager or delegated authority (Maintenance Manager). This position is embedded within TEPUK Field Ops or delegated authority (Smart Room Leader).
Integrated into the smart room team, the instrument smart room engineer works in a total collaboration with the Total team. The job holder is daily connected to the site in order to have a total availability for the site team. A large responsiveness is awaiting on this position, due to this expertise level.
Details/duties:
The Instrument Smart Room Engineer oversees the own expertise activities in one of 3 main assets:
* WOS (West of Shetland): 70 kboe/d – 36 Offshore PoB (Core Crew Only)
* NNS (Alwyn, Dunbar and Gryphon): 35 kboe/d – 90 Offshore PoB (Core Crew Only)
* CNS (Alisa, Culzean and Elgin): 180 kboe/d – 94 Offshore PoB (Core Crew Only)
* Provide day-to-day discipline support for the Platform/site.
* The Job holder is the point of contact in his discipline of the site offshore team (TEPUK or PBS)
* Solve technical issue submit by the site in short term (0-14 days)
* Maintenance of close links with Technical Authorities to ensure that system integrity is preserved.
* Ensuring that all planned work scopes are identified and included in short and long-term asset plans.
* Challenging maintenance activities and applying risk-based techniques to optimise maintenance activities and periodicities.
* Ensuring that instrument operations performed in accordance with good discipline practices and procedures
* Assist GMOC Site Rep and Offshore Supervisor to resolve instrumental equipment problems.
* Coordinate of vendor requirements to support discipline equipment planned and corrective maintenance activities.
* Maintaining close liaison with reliability engineers and other Tier 2/Onshore Instrument Engineer to support reliability improvement programmes, RCM analyses and maintenance strategy development.
* Participation in RCA processes and investigations.
* Assist in performance of equipment maintenance and spares reviews.
* Ensuring satisfactory close out of all actions identified in all work scopes.
* Proactive in supporting and promoting HS&E processes and requirements
* Knowledge and understanding of CMMS (UNISOL).
* Regular liaison with key stakeholders to review and update discipline content in SAP
* Initiation Management of Change work scopes developed through the maintenance process.
* Provide a high-level technical support in the RFM works (non-maintenance)
The Job Holder are concerned by all the SITE activities to be performed on the assets (in terms of priority):
* General Maintenance
* Fabric Maintenance
* SMC (Specific Maintenance Contract) management
* Projects (EPC projects, mainly below 2M£ per project)
* Shutdown and opportunity work
Qualifications/Experience required:
* Professional Experience (years): 10 years
* Experience in similar position (years): 5 years
* Level / Diploma: Engineering instrument Diploma, Master and expertise level
* Languages: English
* Training / Certification: SAP user, SCQF level 8 is an asset
