Event Sales Manager - Golf and Events Venue

Up to £35,000 + £14,000 bonus
We are looking for an Events Sales Manager for a superb premium golf club and events venue, set by the waterside in rural Essex.
The venue has several function areas catering for up to 180 guests and is the perfect venue for parties, weddings, galas, charity events, celebrations of life, and corporate meetings and functions.
The club is part of a larger group that is going through an exciting period of transformation under new leadership, making it a great time to join them.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all incoming enquiries, building rapport with customers throughout the sales process through to booking.
* Build strong relationships with clients, corporate businesses, and event planners.
* Identify new business opportunities through research, networking events, and outreach in the local area.
* Work closely with the operations team to align events with client expectations.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Highly personable, organised, and a self-starter driven by targets.
* Proven track record in hospitality event sales, preferably within a hotel, events venue, or hospitality venue.
* Has worked proactively to generate new leads.
* Lives within commuting distance of the Brentwood area and has their own transport.
