An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate, enthusiastic person to join our highly commended reception team supporting service users within the community with severe often enduring mental health problems. The post holder will welcome our service users for their appointments and deal with their queries over the telephone. They will be the initial contact for other for other agencies, carers and professionals meeting any request in a timely manner. If you are an excellent communicator with a positive attitude, flexible approach and the ability to multi task to support your surrounding teams we would welcome your application. Confident use of Microsoft packages including Teams and outlook are essential for this role. Ideally you will have previous reception experience preferably within a clinical setting but this not essential as full training and regular supervision will be provided. Main duties of the job Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Inpatient Wards to include various teams within the units working alongside the Team Secretary Greet all patients, staff, and visitors at the front desk, maintaining the reception area along with consulting and meeting rooms within the building. Answering calls and dealing with emails relating to the Mental Health Inpatient Services provided by HIOWH NHS Trust. Effectively prioritise and manage own workload whilst maintaining confidentiality and diplomacy both independently and as part of a team. Carry out other duties as necessary to meet the changing needs of the service, in accordance with management of requirements and appropriate to banding.
