About the role
The Institute of Health Informatics is looking to appoint a Senior Research Fellow to join our welcoming and vibrant Institute. This position presents a unique opportunity to join a team of experienced health data scientists, informaticians, statisticians, and clinical epidemiologists and contribute significantly to the statistical analysis and subsequent presentation of results from large-scale national and rich local health record data resources. The Senior Research Fellow will contribute to transforming phenotype data to a common data model as well as deliver research describing the burden of rare cardiovascular disorder. About you
The Senior Research Fellow must have a PhD as well as excellent programming and data visualisation skills in Python and R, along with experience with cloud platforms. The role holder will have experience in creating and evaluating algorithms for identifying clinically important features in health record data.
