About The Role Scope of Role Reporting to the Regional Marketing Managers, the Marketing Co-ordinator is an integral role within the South Home Counties Sales and Marketing team. The Marketing Co-ordinator is responsible executing marketing strategies to generate the volume and quality of leads needed to deliver sales, brand awareness and achieve results in an often challenging and dynamic market. You will copywrite and create marketing and PR materials using existing templates, update the Cala website and property portals, brief and proofread marketing materials, and brief photography for your region’s developments. You will also provide administrative support to the marketing team, attend marketing meetings and liaise with marketing agencies on marketing campaigns. You will ensure your own consistency and compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and Cala policies. These include: General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) helping to ensure that our customer’s data is always treated with respect. The Consumer Protection Act and National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency guidelines, promoting our products and services in a fair and compliant manner. The New Homes Quality Code, ensuring our customers are aware of their rights throughout the purchase process and warranty period. Key Responsibilities & Duties Development Marketing Supporting sales rate by executing effective development marketing of the required standards for brand consistency nationally. You will achieve this with support from Cala’s chosen media, marketing, signage, and marketing suite agencies. Monitoring data including targeted and achieved sales rates, media performance, web traffic and enquiry levels and database marketing effectiveness reporting to help identify opportunities to review/adjust marketing messaging and media spend proactively for each development. To maximise effectiveness of activity and return on investment of spend. Analysis of market data and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies. Collaborating with the Sales & Marketing Director, Sales Managers and on-site Sales Team to adjust messaging at development and plot level. Briefing and arranging approval of Computer-Generated Images of your developments, site plans, floor plans, street scenes, internal or external flythroughs, aerial views, housetype images and website assets. Briefing and arranging photography of your developments. Working with the commercial team to produce customer-facing specifications and available extras to communicate the features of our homes. Briefing and proofreading digital development brochures to set templates. This will involve liaising with technical, land, construction, commercial, and sales teams to ensure accuracy of all elements. Creating and deploying database marketing (email and SMS) and development newsletters. Creating, and deploying simple videos and advertisements using established templates on the Cala brand hub and templates provided by our media agency. Complying with the Consumer Protection Act and National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency and Cala guidelines to promote our homes and services in a transparent and fair manner. Copywriting and updating your developments’ online listings including the Cala website, property portals, and estate agent websites to showcase our product’s USPs against all competition in the area, including resale homes. Applying SEO best practice to all development pages, using the appointed SEO platform. Creating and updating assets for social media and PPC activity. Ensuring prompt cancellation of all media activity at the end of the site sales period. Helping to achieve the above duties within Cala KPIs around cost per lead and cost per reservation. Assist in the execution of digital and traditional marketing campaigns through strategic and tactical marketing activities to set deadlines and budgets, at national, regional and development level. Working with the PR agency and Social Media team to maximise the online communications opportunities (including organic social media, blogs, and press releases) throughout a development lifecycle (e.g., launches, key events, delivery of planning obligations, and Community Pledge activities). Ad hoc duties to support the Marketing Managers as required. Point of Sale Set-Up and Maintenance Using the standard designs, specifying sales areas with the technical and commercial team and ensuring delivery by agreed signage and marketing suite subcontractors. Briefing landscapers to create gardens for sales areas and show homes which reflect the target audience and reinforce the Cala brand. Creating detailed briefings for interior designers to produce show homes which reflect the target audience and reinforce the Cala brand. Working with tiling and kitchen manufacturers to select options for show homes and customer options/upgrades. Arranging for presentation materials showing customer options/upgrades within the sales suite. Working with construction, sales, commercial teams, signage and marketing suite subcontractors, landscapers, interior designers, and marketing agency to ensure timely installation of sales areas, marketing suites, show homes, landscaping and signage. Regularly visiting sites within your region to review the presentation of all aspects of the sales environment, ensuring signage remains up to date and relevant, and communicating marketing plans and results with the site sales team. Research, shortlist and recommend development marketing names. Set up new developments on Salesforce and the Cala website. Brand Awareness and Reputation Management Support Marketing Managers with roll out and delivery of regional PR activity striving, to achieve KPI’s and maximise PR opportunities and results. Communicating your regional Community Pledge activities to home buyers, land vendors, and community stakeholders. Supporting the Corporate Communications team with crisis communications concerning your region. Collaborating on Cala-wide Marcomms projects and asset creation to continually improve the available toolkits and systems. Working with the PR agency and Social Media team to maximise the online communications opportunities (including organic social media, blogs, and press releases) that will enhance Cala’s employer brand. Acting as a brand ambassador within your region, ensuring consistent use of the Cala internal and external brands.
