The Business Integrity Governance Engagement Lead works alongside the Global BI Leader for Governance & Innovation to provide ethics and compliance leadership and support to almost 40 Business Integrity Committees (BIC) around the globe.
Business Integrity Committees (BICs) are integral to Unilever's commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring compliance with the company's Code of Business Principles and Code Policies. These committees play a crucial role in overseeing and promoting business integrity across the organization. This includes holding individuals accountable for any breaches of the Code. BICs typically comprise senior leaders from various departments. We are currently redesigning the structure of BICs so they operate mostly on a multi-country and Business Group/Units basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Managing the global BIC calendar and membership.
2. Communicating with BIC members and providing advice on BI governance matters.
3. Training BIC members and preparing training materials.
4. Preparing materials and presentations for BIC meetings.
5. Preparing minutes of BIC meetings and tracking remedial actions.
6. Keeping all documentation ready for auditing purposes.
7. Being an active contributor to the continuous enhancement of the Business Integrity program.
ALL ABOUT YOU
1. Bachelor’s degree is required.
2. Relevant years of experience in related areas. Example of previous relevant experiences include ethics and compliance, legal operations, project management, corporate governance, corporate secretarial services, risk management or internal reporting.
3. Knowledge and experience in business integrity risk areas.
4. Demonstrated experience in a similar role in multinational corporation(s).
5. Strong reputation for integrity.
6. Sufficient project management skills to be able to track more the activities and documentation of more around 40 BICs and more than 160 meetings a year.
7. Outstanding capacity to prepare materials in PowerPoint and Word, as well as to work with metrics and KPI.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate to all levels in the company.
