This role sits within the Finance Department as part of our Finance Shared Services team. As part of a team which has responsibility for various operational elements of Chubb Finance’s Shared Services capability, the role reports to the Finance Shared Services Operational Lead.
This role is responsible for executing and managing certain Finance Operations processes, driving and executing on special projects, and implementing process improvement initiatives. The role provides a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to various Finance Operations related processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and manage key operational elements for Finance Shared Services including Billing, Contract reviews, measuring performance and defining relevant actions based on SLA & KPI compliance, and other operational processes.
* Analyse large volumes of data to draw out insights and analysis. This includes analysing employee T&E spend and presenting findings to senior management.
* Analyse industry trends within Shared Services with lens of relevance / applicability to Chubb’s Finance Shared Services organization.
* Ad hoc analysis and project work. This includes process improvement projects and initiatives.
* Provide support for system implementation initiatives including identifying and documenting business requirements, executing testing etc.
* Develop and/or execute on automation of processes and reporting leveraging process automation tools.
* Liaise with the business stakeholders as required and provide a high standard of service to all stakeholders.
* Support training and development related to new processes.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in Finance Operations and/or Shared Services.
* Prior experience in working on projects, process improvement initiatives and automation of processes.
* Although not a detailed accounting role, a good basic understanding of accounting is preferred, and preference will be given to applicants with similar, relevant experience.
* No previous experience of a financial services environment is required, but preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate this, particularly in the field of insurance.
* Strong data and analytical skills.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle difficult or sensitive issues.
* Strong reporting and presentation skills including advanced use of Excel and PowerPoint.
* Familiarity and ability to utilize process automation and data analysis tools including Alteryx.
* Familiarity with typical Finance Shared Services platforms including Coupa Source to Pay (or equivalent Procure to Pay platform), Concur T&E etc.
