Specification Sales Manager

£45-50,000 + car + 20% bonus
Ideal role for a high performing, field sales professional looking for a bluechip organisation
Responsibilities:
1. Managing and driving business with major housebuilders and contractors in the region.
2. Specialising within new build housing specification projects.
3. Long term project management and working on tender frameworks for specific product requirements.
4. Representing a profitable and forward-thinking washroom brand.
5. Demonstrating understanding of specifiers and end users throughout the sales cycle.
THE ROLE: As a Specification Manager, you will manage a variety of customers and stakeholders across Regional Developers, Housebuilders, Contractors, and Installers. You will be selling a very strong brand of showers, washroom solutions, and shower enclosures. Key to success in this role is a proven track record of sales and strong sales process with effective communication techniques. Candidates from a plumbing and heating or KBB background with new business sales experience will be highly desirable. Previous knowledge of housebuilders is preferred but not essential.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
1. 2 years or more working in field sales, with evidence of cold calling and winning business.
2. Has sold a product rather than a service.
3. Ability to manage a pipeline of projects and long sales cycle.
4. A consultative, driven and professional salesperson with good attention to detail.
5. Understanding of major developers and housebuilder clients is desirable but not essential.
Salary: £45-50,000 basic salary, plus 20% OTE, company car, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday, pension scheme.
