YEAR 2 PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED
About the Role:
Academics are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave on a long-term supply basis at a primary school in Stoke-on-Trent. The position begins in September and will run until at least the Spring Term, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to 30 pupils in year 2
* Plan and prepare high-quality teaching materials in line with the national curriculum.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2, is preferred.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate
