We have an excellent opportunity for a Systems Specialist to join our IT Team based in Lurgan on a fixed term contract for 12 months. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager you will be responsible for providing:- On-site support and office-based desktop support to staff / mobile users across multiple sites Quality end user support, whilst ensuring a stable and reliable IT infrastructure; and 1st level and 2nd level support as a part of the Global Service Desk to other sites across the globe Key responsibilities will include: 1st level end user and infrastructure support in cooperation with local business IT team Active Directory management Manage IT requirements for ongoing operations and site projects Setting up and configuring new hardware including PCs, Laptops, Printers Server and Network infrastructure support and maintenance Meraki Networks and managing VLANS for OT, IT environments Phone system/ Mobile device (Android and IOS) management Asset management and lifecycle Liaising with application & system vendors on behalf of local teams Patch management of both local and cloud hosted systems aligned with Group policies Perform data backup and recovery tasks Disaster Recovery planning and implementation Researching problems and creating documentation Close cooperation with global infrastructure virtual team Essential Shortlisting Criteria: Third level qualification in computer-related subjects Post qualification experience in a similar role Previous experience working with service desk / helpdesk managing incidents, service requests, change tickets and problem management Previous experience in Microsoft O365 environment and tools Desirable Criteria: IT Operation experience within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of ITIL combined with experience working within an ITIL environment We are looking for someone who has an organized, proactive approach to their work with the ability to self-manage and multi-task.
