Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Negotiable for the Right Candidate)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
On-Call: Shared with the Manager

The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join the team. In this pivotal role, you will assist the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. You will be responsible for overseeing staff, managing care plans, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role also involves shared on-call duties with the Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Manager in the effective running of the care home.
* Supervise and support care staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
* Manage care plans and ensure they are regularly reviewed and updated.
* Oversee the medication cycle, ensuring all residents receive their medications safely and on time.
* Ensure the care home complies with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Support the Manager with recruitment, training, and staff development.
* Take on shared on-call duties to ensure the smooth running of the care home at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (essential).
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a residential care setting.
* Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Knowledge: Familiar with the full medication cycle and CQC frameworks.
* Personal Attributes: Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing the highest level of care.
