As a Specialist Technical Trainer at Elekta, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical education landscape for our cutting-edge LINAC systems. This global role is an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and deliver top-notch training programs that empower our field service engineers and support teams to maintain Elekta's advanced products.
You’ll lead the way in maintaining training excellence by evaluating and improving curricula, coordinating programs, and staying ahead of future needs, including new product introductions. Collaborating with product development, order fulfilment, and global service teams, you'll ensure our training offerings remain comprehensive, innovative, and impactful.

What you’ll do at Elekta
Your role will include (but not limited to):
* Provide expert technical training knowledge transfer to regional technical trainers ensuring all objectives and standards are achieved and maintained through the training lifecycle.
* Deliver technical training and conduct assessment to students undertaking technical training courses.
* Design, develop and deliver on the technical training requirements in support of Elekta’s products including new, emerging, and continuous engineering updates.
* Collaborate with global support centres and FSEs to understand evolving training needs and be able to deliver on through the BL into the regions.
* Devise in collaboration with Manager and colleagues the training strategy for new products and implement and monitor the rollout of such training to the business.
* Control, conduct, monitor and support training courses including, student assessment sheets, course documentation and management, and escalating matters as required.
* Collaborate with Learning Principles and stakeholders to identify training needs for staff and students.
* Deliver training locally and globally as required in order to meet strategic and operational objectives.
* Create and manage all service training documentation in support of global delivery.
* Ensure appropriate administrative responsibilities are completed on assigned courses and tasks.
* Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by senior management.
* Incorporate Elekta Values and quality systems into all department functions and responsibilities.

* Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching/mentoring skills.
* Ability to adapt to change or challenges presented by trainees and cultural differences.
* Excellent management of time and resources.
* Team player able to operate individually and as a team member during training course delivery.
What you bring
* Higher level qualification (HNC/HND) or Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Physics or associated discipline and/or equivalent experience.
* Proven engineering skills: mechanical, electrical, electronic fault finding including analogue circuitry, plumbing, vacuum, radiation engineering.
* Extensive knowledge and experience as an FSE on Elekta products or Elekta support modalities.
* Ability to travel to conduct training internationally where business needs arise – 25%.
* Proven computing skills competent in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to demonstrate assessment skills: Examination invigilation, practical assessment.
* Ability to demonstrate authoring skills: Creating, maintaining course documents using development software and methodologies.
* Be able to conduct audit activities to other trainers and maintain overall independence.
