The NHS Tayside Digital Directorate are looking to recruit an additional ICT Technician/IT Service Desk Operator to join our IT Service Desk team.
You would be required to provide Service Desk and Customer Services to IT Users throughout NHS Tayside and other partner agencies. You must be able to deliver duties and support services in a reliable, dependable manner ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
What we are looking for:
Someone who has good customer service skills and an active interest within an IT field.
You should have knowledge and capabilities in the following areas:
* Ability to problem-solve and work in new and challenging situations
* A working knowledge of operating systems and common user applications including Windows 10 (Upwards)
* A knowledge of computer hardware and software
This role will include the above but is not restricted to these responsibilities.

The Digital Team are currently based in the MacKenzie Building, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and are primarily office based. However, there is some flexibility with the team working remotely at times.
This is a permanent, full-time post which entails a variety of different shift patterns. Some shift patterns will include weekend working; however, this will be at an enhanced pay rate. The variety of shift patterns provide an environment that encourages work/life balance.
You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.
