Our workforce is central to achieving this vision, and we are committed to attracting and recruiting the best talents in all areas of the service.
We have immediate opportunities for experienced HR professionals to join us in one of two Senior HR Advisor roles as we go through a period of cultural change with increased activity levels, exciting projects and increased organisational change.
There are two posts available: one in our People Strategy Team, which will carry a case load of ER cases, and the other in our People Services Team, focusing on supporting the HR Business Partner for People Services with the delivery of people-related projects.
For both posts, we are looking for experienced people professionals with a sound understanding of the complexities of large, diverse organisations.
Please clearly indicate on your application which post you are most interested in applying for.
Main duties of the job
Working within our People and Organisation Development directorate, you will be an operational HR lead for a specific service area or work agenda, supporting our managers to deliver the best approach to people management.
The skills that will be most important are: developing good relationships across the service, championing good practice, and practicing in accordance with our values.
You will work alongside a great team of HR and OD professionals, as well as diversity and inclusion and health and well-being specialists within our People and OD Directorate.

Our values: Kindness, Respect, Teamwork and Improvement are at the heart of all we do.
Experience of a similar environment would be advantageous. NHS experience is useful but not essential; HR practitioners from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Experience of working in partnership with trade unions is essential.
We support flexible working and will help you achieve an effective work/life balance. Trust-wide travel will be needed occasionally. We take a hybrid working approach with a mix of home and office-based time.
