We have an exciting opportunity available for a Night Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Vets at Night Team.
The working hours will be 7 nights (Monday to Sunday) covering 6:00pm to 8:00am on a one week on, two weeks off basis. You will be in the same team every time, so you really get the opportunity to bond as a cohesive force. You will be directly responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the ward environment, such as cleaning kennels, exercising patients, washing bowls, laundry, stock maintenance, animal handling, basic care including TPR (temperature, pulse and respiration checks), grooming, feeding and assisting the veterinary team. This is an active role.
This role would suit a confident person able to effectively prioritise and manage their own workload as there may be times through the night where you are working independently. We have been tasked to ensure the safety and comfort of all the animals in our care and we need to do that to the highest possible level, so having some similar animal experience would be a true asset.
Come and join our fantastic team!
Our team are at the hub of the hospital helping to care for unwell patients who either need close monitoring and care on any of our seven wards.
