Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced individual to lead our US Petcare Inside & Digital Sales teams. The primary responsibility includes leading and developing a high-performing team of Inside & Digital Sales Representatives, utilizing solution coaching, business planning, change management, and executing regional strategies to maximize sales performance. The candidate should build a team that delivers the Zoetis experience while driving organizational goals and fostering an engaged, valued culture aligned with Zoetis Core Beliefs. Limited travel to regional and national sales meetings is expected.
Primary Responsibilities
Leading People
* Lead through others by assigning work, monitoring activities, and evaluating performance.
* Attract, develop, evaluate, differentiate, and retain top talent through recruiting, coaching, and performance management.
* Spend 75% of time on sales coaching to meet performance objectives.
* Lead and develop colleagues based on their roles and skills, demonstrating Solution Coaching.
* Direct efforts of Inside and Digital Sales Representatives to meet management objectives.
* Develop and execute area business plans, including tracking and reporting.
* Maintain product portfolio knowledge.
* Meet or exceed sales quotas, focusing on key growth products.
* Lead new product/service launches successfully.
* Improve sales metrics such as growth rates and leverage analytical reports.
Leading the Business
* Develop annual strategic business plans with detailed metrics and reporting.
* Manage key sales metrics including call volume, talk time, and conversion rates.
* Coordinate marketing efforts and handle administrative tasks.
* Participate in product launches and sales meetings.
* Perform special projects as assigned.
Organizational Relationships
Ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and manage relationships at all organizational levels in dynamic environments.
Education & Experience
* Preferred undergraduate degree (BS/BA).
* 2+ years inside sales experience preferred.
* Proven success in leadership and sales performance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with analytics, veterinary medicine knowledge, and B2B sales preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Technical Skills
Strong verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and Zoetis systems.
