Area Sales Manager
THE ROLE: As an Area Sales Manager covering the Scottish region your role will be to sell a range of nail guns, pneumatic tools, rebar tools & the associated fixings and fastening solutions to End users within the Construction Industry. You will demonstrate products to Contractors in the Construction and Industrial sectors, whilst also looking after some of the largest 'house accounts' for the business who are classed as re-seller businesses. The remit is predominantly business development, but your skill set as an Area Sales Manager will enable you to introduce new products to existing end users and grow the growing account base on the area.
As an Area Sales Manager you will be dealing with a variety of decision makers from stores & procurement through to business owners and board level contacts. This is a hands on, high activity, field sales position where you will have your hard hat on one minute selling to operatives on-site, and the next being in a suit in a board room negotiating contracts for hire & sales of tools with contractual agreements to supply accessories and fixings to go with them. The main sectors you would be selling into are the timber frame and civil engineering sectors of the construction industry, but there are multiple avenues which these fixing power tools can be used.
This is a varied field sales role which would suit someone who has a background in the construction sector looking for their next move, or similarly someone who has a B2B field sales background and are looking for a change in sector.

In addition, training & development is something that our client hold dearly, they regularly utilise the apprenticeship levy for their sales team as well as other training plans available for continuous development of their staff.
Requirements: To be considered for the Area Sales Manager role you must have:
· B2B sales experience in a field sales capacity.
· Ideally come from the construction industry or the fixing & fastening sector.
· Have ideally sold a product rather than a service.
· Have a strong work ethic and passion for sales.
· Are physically able to demonstrate power tools to customers.
· Full UK drivers license.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary : £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
OTE: £10k Year 1 - uncapped
