We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HM Featherstone, a category C Prison located in Featherstone, Staffordshire.
In this role, you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Working Hours
Mon - Fri: 07:00 - 18:30
Sat - Sun: 08:30 - 17:30 (you will be expected to work every other weekend)
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary between £33,232 - £40,211 per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
* Deliver non-judgmental care
* Build strong links with our partners and stakeholders
Qualifications Required
* Registered nurse - Adult
* Current professional qualification (NMC)
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and national standards
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
