Key Responsibilities
Manage Warehouse Operations: Ensure the smooth event logistics planning and dispatch processes
Inventory Management: Oversee stock control, including equipment, supplies, and perishables, ensuring accurate records and optimal stock levels.
Logistics Coordination & Management: Plan and execute the packing and dispatch of equipment and goods for events, ensuring timely delivery.
Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot logistical challenges and implement effective solutions in high-pressure situations.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is checked, cleaned, and maintained to the highest standard.
About You:
Previous experience in warehouse and logistics management is essential, ideally within the catering or events industry / similar environments.
UK driving licence is essential.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience of working collaboratively with other departments and functions within a business
* Must have experience of working in a large warehouse environment
* Highly organised, problem solving abilities, quick thinker
* Proficient in inventory management systems and basic IT skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
* Excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.
