The successful candidate should be hardworking and able to work under pressure, with strong organisational skills, andbe able to manage a small team. Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the efficient management anddirection of the administration team, ensuring all administrative duties are performedeffectively and to the required standard, meeting the objectives of thepractice.
Tosupport the management team in promoting quality and continuous improvement,confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning anddevelopment and carry out other duties as directed by the Practice Manager andPartners.

To ensure that key targets are achieved by all members of theadmin team
To work as part of the admin team and be responsible for theday to day management of the admin staff
To work with the practice manager on the production ofperformance and quality standards within the administrative team
To oversee all administrative functions including but notexclusively: child immunisation targets; referrals; cytology; Links; onlineapplications; recall and annual review programmes; coding; summarizing; tasks;non-nhs work ; movement of records; answering queries.
To workwith and lead the team through future development of admin processes

1. Experience of working in an office environment
2. Experience of Primary Care from an operational and administratice perspective
3. A developed understanding of customer care
4. An understanding and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality
