Prime Video is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to support rapid growth and maturity of Amazon Prime Video. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building services and engineering platform features for stress test automation, traffic prediction and operational excellence using cutting edge technology. You will own end to end technical components and framework focused on technology and services needed to build scale, efficiency, and an Amazon-caliber customer experience. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and end-users around the world at all levels and will contribute to the Operational Excellence roadmap by identifying and prioritizing customer requirements. About the team
Our Resiliency Engineering team is a part of Prime Video READI (Resilience, Efficiency, Availability, and Demand Insights) team, where we're on path to revolutionize how Amazon's entertainment services scale and perform. Our team maintains the central tooling infrastructure that supports scale readiness across Prime Video, Amazon Photos, Amazon Music, and Alexa.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
* Experience in professional, non-internship software development
* Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
* Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
