Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support to two children in Year 5 with identified speech and language delays.
The Role:
This rewarding position involves working closely with the class teacher and the school’s SEND team to deliver tailored interventions and 1:1 support that will aid the pupils' communication, confidence, and overall learning progress. You’ll play a vital role in helping these pupils access the curriculum, develop their language skills, and thrive socially and academically.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties (desirable)
* A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and specialists
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
