Role: Locum Pharmacist Manager Banding: Band 8a Location: Milton Keynes Start Date: ASAP Duration: 04/11/2024 Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00AM - 17:30PM Rate: Day: £40 - £46 per hour About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to lead our team in Milton Keynes. As a Band 8b Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and managing a dedicated team of professionals. Key Responsibilities: You will lead and manage the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional service. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. You will oversee the dispensing of medications and provide clinical advice. You will manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary medications. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. You will implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Up to date GPhC registration. Master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent. Ideally, two years of NHS experience. Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager. Desirable: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. In-depth knowledge of pharmacy regulations and standards.
