Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist will include:
3. Managing the monthly end to end in-house payroll.
4. Work alongside the Payroll Manager to roll forward prior month payrolls.
5. Liaise with partners across Europe to complete international payroll
6. Accurate processing and reconciliation of the company's payroll
7. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
8. Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries
9. Assisting with payroll reporting to management on a regular basis
10. Supporting the year-end process and liaising with auditors
11. Providing support for payroll-related projects
12. Working closely with the Accounting & Finance team to improve payroll procedures
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
13. A minimum of 2 year's experience working in a payroll background
14. Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
15. Proficiency in Payroll software
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, having intermediate of advanced knowledge
17. Understanding of all regulatory requirements and deadlines for tax, pension and other bodies
18. Understanding of month end and annual payroll processes and procedures
19. Calculating variable elements to payroll
20. Experience with international payroll is ideal but not essential
