Are you a Contract Manager working within the Hard Services Facilities Management or Engineering Maintenance industry and looking for a new exciting opportunity based in the Wiltshire area? This Facilities Services provider to the commercial building maintenance sector is opening a brand new office in Trowbridge and is looking for 2 Contract Managers to run the region.
Positions Available:
1. Planned Maintenance Contract Manager to look after all the Planned Maintenance and Statutory Compliance on a large portfolio of sites across the Wiltshire region.
2. Reactive Maintenance Contract Manager to look after the reactive works and minor works projects within the contract.
As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Implementing, managing, and maintaining in-house QMS & documentation system.
2. Implementation of audit program and conducting HS / QA audits with the customer and Surveyors.
3. Demonstrating strong communication skills (verbal and written) as well as attention to detail.
4. Working well under pressure and hitting deadlines.
5. Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
6. Maintaining good IT Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel).
7. Knowledge and familiarisation of Technical Memorandums.
8. Keeping internal databases up to date.
9. Working closely with Senior Managers / Supervisors.
10. Familiarity with CAFM systems (i.e. Job Logic).
11. Completing accredited courses such as NEBOSH General and Internal Auditor training supplemented by experience gained whilst working in a similar position.
12. Coordinating all internal audit and compliance processes (i.e. RAM’s), monitoring the progression of recommended actions, and providing practical advice to all staff on compliance-related issues.
13. Identifying where training on compliance guidelines is required.
14. Staff recruitment.
15. Client Debt management.
16. Reviewing and updating internal processes / SOP’s.
17. Frequent auditing of FM controlled areas.
18. Providing out of hours support for the on-call team via escalation process.
19. Managing compliance and maintenance sub-contractors.
Technical Skills / Knowledge Qualifications & Experience:
1. Formal Mechanical or Electrical background.
2. Nebosh general Professional Membership - desirable.
3. Any professional Health, Safety, Compliance, or FM qualification.
