About The Role Great Opportunity: Support Worker Training provided Hourly Pay: £14.70 (Days) £15.10 (Evenings & Weekends after 8:00 PM) Location: Weymouth, Dorset Shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM Responsibilities: Assist the client with day-to-day activities both at home and within the community. Create and follow activity plans to enhance the client's emotional and physical well-being. Support the client in managing emotions, particularly during noisy or busy environments. Work closely with the family, especially the client's mum, to provide tailored support. Build engagement, foster confidence, and promote positive relationships with the client. Ensure the client's safety and well-being, particularly during emotional outbursts. Assist with daily living tasks to ensure the client enjoys a fulfilling and active day. Be comfortable working with the family dog present. Key Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in Learning Disabilities is not required, but a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential. Skills: Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting the client's individual needs. What We Offer: Training: Full training provided, including courses on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
