Customer Delivery Assistant
Location: Huntingdon (PE29)
Pay Rate: £12.12 P/H or £13.57 P/H with Holiday entitlement included.
Shift pattern: MONDAY TO FRIDAY
Start Time: 06:00 AM
Staffing Match, one of the fastest growing agencies within the UK, have an excellent opportunity available for Driver Assistants / Drivers Mates / Porters working for our client, one of the largest bedroom furniture supplying companies in the UK. The position is to complete bedroom furniture deliveries to customer premises, in the room of their choice, whilst providing them with exquisite customer service, as you will be representing the company.
Your responsibilities as a Drivers Mate:
1. Complete your deliveries on time, to schedule and most importantly ensuring your customers are left happy.
2. Be friendly and helpful throughout.
3. Keep your customer informed by calling ahead.
4. Deliver and assemble furniture in the customer's home.
Requirements:
1. Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling experience.
2. Desirable experience of using a PDA but not essential.
3. Be physically fit, as heavy lifting is involved.
4. A good level of oral English.
5. A great work ethic.
