Job Description
Payroll Administrator (Full-time, or Part-time):
Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the Payroll team in all relevant areas of the payroll processing.
2. Process all new starters on Access, recording RTW and ensuring signed contracts are in place.
3. Data Security and confidentiality.
4. Support the Payroll team by providing cover in absences.
5. Maintain good health and safety awareness.
6. Adhere to all guidelines and rules in the staff handbook.
Roles and Tasks:
1. Manage accurate data on Access.
2. Record on Payroll system absence calendar all sickness absences.
3. Liaise with HR, site administrators and department heads.
4. Maintenance of staff records.
5. Refer any operational issues to Payroll Manager.
6. Perform relevant related duties as requested by your line manager and Senior Management Team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Administrator (Full-time, or Part-time) should have:
1. A solid understanding of payroll principles and practices.
2. Proficiency in the use of payroll software (ACCESS experience would be highly advantageous).
3. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
4. Good knowledge of relevant payroll legislation.
5. Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and resolving queries.
6. A proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
