Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across domestic, agricultural and commercial buildings
Strong advocate and drive to ensure our health & safety first and foremost culture is embedded into day-to-day Installation processes
Adhere to all health and Safety legislation, consistently driving health and safety as priority responsibility throughout the installation department
Conduct Health and safety audits to ensure compliance and installation crews safety is priority first and foremost
Ensure that solar projects are executed with precision, adhering to stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements
Lead the installation team to meet and exceed on KPI expectations
Estimate materials, equipment and personnel needed for installation projects
Co-ordinate schedules, installation teams, materials and addressing all on site issues that arise
Provide technical assistance to the installation teams, technicians and other solar professionals within the company
Develop initiatives to improve quality and efficiency processes
Drive company culture on high quality and consistently excellent attention to detail on the installation
Act as a bridge between clients, engineers, and installation crews ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely and in compliance with industry standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and partners by demonstrating expertise, professionalism, and responsiveness in all interactions
Continuously improve knowledge of company products, industry trends, and best practices
Conduct mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety with installations teams
Conduct weekly planning calls with appropriate installation team members and management
Coordinate weekly inspections of installations from quality and SEAI compliance perspective
Requirements:
Proven experience as a site manager or similar role
Excellent understanding of Irish regulations, SEAI grant schemes and renewable energy frameworks
Strong understanding of health & safety standards
Microsoft office and IT skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership skills and technical knowledge of solar energy systems
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong customer orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Effective problem-solving abilities
Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling and Working at Height certification
Full clean driver’s licence
