Marketing and Business Development Executive Location: Leeds, UK Reports To: Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager Travel Required: Occasional UK travel Working Pattern: Full-time Contract Type: Permanent Role Purpose Join our dynamic team as a Marketing & Business Development Executive You'll support the Yorkshire Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager in delivering top-notch marketing and business development plans for our Leeds office. This role is closely aligned with our UK and International Marketing and BD Strategy. Key Responsibilities Collaborate: Work with partners and lawyers, especially the Leeds Office Managing Partner and Location Heads, to support client development activities. Event Coordination: Plan and execute events from start to finish, including setting objectives, execution, and ROI analysis. Communication: Draft and coordinate digital posters, event invitations, news alerts, press releases, social media content, and more. Pitch Support: Lead the creation of pitches, capability statements, and materials for client meetings. Campaign Management: Assist in coordinating partnership and sponsorship campaigns, ensuring high-quality delivery and ROI. Business Development: Support all BD activities, including working with intermediaries, client listening, and new business generation. Marketing Collateral: Produce engaging marketing materials and invitations. Community Engagement: Engage with the Leeds community and support CSR initiatives. Internal Engagement: Liaise with staff networks and committees to plan events and drive engagement. Event Planning: Organize office-wide events like summer and Christmas parties. Newsletter: Write a weekly newsletter focusing on people stories, legal team transactions, and upcoming events. Skills and Experience Corporate Experience: Experience in a corporate environment, ideally within Professional Services. Organizational Skills: Excellent at multitasking and managing tasks efficiently. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and accuracy. Writing Skills: Strong technical and writing skills. Commercial Awareness: Demonstrate strong commercial awareness in approach and delivery. Initiative: Confident in operating independently and owning projects.
