Job Title: M&E Project Manager Location: Wimbledon (Initial office-based period) Salary: £75,000 per annum Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Project Manager on behalf of our client, a leading company in the residential construction industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality residential projects. This position is based in Wimbledon, with an initial 4-6 week pre-construction office-based period to ensure effective project planning and coordination. Key Responsibilities: Manage the M&E delivery of a large-scale residential project, ensuring all systems are integrated effectively, installed on time, and within budget. Oversee the pre-construction phase, working closely with the project team to ensure all M&E systems align with design specifications and regulatory standards. Collaborate with designers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate M&E systems integration throughout the project lifecycle. Track and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the quality and progress of M&E works, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, change orders, and other relevant paperwork. Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contractors, ensuring smooth project execution. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure the project meets their expectations and requirements. Key Requirements: A minimum of 5 years experience with an interest in candidates who have worked at Tier 1 companies in managerial roles just under the main Project Manager position. Strong knowledge of M&E systems in residential construction projects, with a solid understanding of design, installation, and commissioning. Proven track record of managing complex residential projects, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders effectively. Solid understanding of project processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements in the residential sector. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing project challenges. Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
